Were you ready for motherhood?
Not really, I had just turned 18 when my oldest was born. At that time how I wish babies were born with handbooks..lol
Have you ever met someone who has completely inspired you to be a better person? Can you tell us about that relationship and how it has affected you?
This was a tough choice because both my parents are my best friends. They both have inspired me in their own way. My mom has inspired me to be the best mom and wife that I can be. My dad has inspired to be independent and to give it my all in everything that I choose to do in life.
Do you have any nervous habits? What are they?
I bite my nails
Did you ever date a guy your parents did not like? Were they right about him?
Yes I did and they were absolutly right about him. Now that I see him I can see what a jerk he is.
What do you want your kids to remember the most about you?
That everything I do I do for them and that I love them very much and did the best I could for them. I want them to also know that I will always be here for them.
What did you learn the most from your mother?
I learned from my mom patience and how to be caring. She always put us first when we were growing up and now that my dad is ill she puts him first before herself.
How many coupons do you use on a regular basis? What is your best money saving tip?
I use coupons every chance I get. I try not to do any impulse shopping. If there's something I like, I think about whether it's a want or a need. If it's a want, I make sure it's something I know I can use.
How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you referred here?
I found mommysavers when I was looking for a site on savings. I was a single parent for many years and needed all the ideas I could get. This board really helped
I have not referred anyone because I feel like this is the place I can vent if I have to.
Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice, support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from? And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice?
I benefited from a lot of members. They always seem to have such great advice for a lot of things.

What is the most romantic thing your dh ever did for you?
My dh is very romantic but I have to say the most romantic think he did was one night when he ordered chinese and he set everything out on the coffee table with music going on and for candlelight he got a medicine bottle and somehow made a candle fit in there to have candlelight. Sounds corny but it just seemed so romantic that he put so much effort in it.

What hobby do you enjoy the most? What got you started on it? How would you rate yourself? Can you show us a picture of your proudest piece of work?
I love to scrapbook. I wish I could be as good as Ember and others here but they inspire me to work harder at it. Wanting to leave memories for my sons is what got me started on this.
How many frogs did you kiss before you found Mr. Right? Was he worth the wait?
Too many to count and yes my dh was definitly worth the wait.
What is your favorite genre of music? Who is your favorite group? Have you ever seen them in concert?
I like 70's music, country music and gospel. I really enjoy listening to Shania Twain and hope to see her in concert one day.
List three things you have on your Life List; things you would like to accomplish before you leave this world
1. lose some weight
2.go on a vacation where I can just relax and enjoy without worrying what it's costing me
3.to see that my sons had succeeded in life
Which room in your house best reflects your personality?
All my house reflects me in one way or another. It feels homey and I get a lot of compliments on it.
What do you see your children growing up to be like?
What career path would they choose? Even though my children are older they are still trying to find themselves. I see my oldest as a coach, he loves kids....my middle son doing something with computers or theater and my youngest as a business man.
