MS Mom of the Week is a fun way for us to get to know the Mommysavers members. Newbies to the board as well as regulars are welcome to participate. The Mom of the Week is randomly selected a week in advance of her being featured. I do this so I can contact you, let you know your feature date, and arrange to receive a picture from you to include with the survey. Having a picture included is so we can make it a little more personal and put a name to a face. This is optional of course, as are all the questions being asked. Were you ready for motherhood? VERY READY WE HAD 2 BIRTHS RESULTING IN LOSS SO I WAS MORE THAN READY WHEN BRENDAN CAME ALONG.

Have you ever met someone who has completely inspired you to be a better person? Can you tell us about that relationship and how it has affected you? I WOULD SAY MY MOTHER AND I DID NOT REALIZE THIS UNTIL SHE BECAME ILL AND EVEN MORE SO AFTER BECOMING A MOTHER MYSELF HER COURAGE AND STRENGTH AND FAITH WHEN ALL ALONG KNOWING SHE WOULD LEAVE HER CHILDREN BEHIND MADE ME A BETTER MOTHER AND PERSON.

Do you have any nervous habits? What are they? I WASH MY HANDS TO THE POINT OF BLEEDING SOMETIMES JUST TRYING TO MAKE SURE I DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING WITH DIRTY HANDS MY OWN MILD OCD I GUESS YOU WOULD CALL IT.

Did you ever date a guy your parents did not like? Were they right about him? I DATED A GUY THAT WAS 21 AND I WAS 16. HE WAS THE SECURITY GUARD AT OUR HIGH SCHOOL DANCE... HE CAME TO OUR HOUSE TO PICK ME UP AND WE LIED AND SAID HE WAS A SENIOR(MY PARENTS WOULD NOT HAVE A CLUE MY MOM WAS SICK SO FOCUS WAS ON HER) I DATED HIM FOR A COUPLE MONTHS AND REALIZED HE WAS VERY CONTROLLING AND DID NOT WANT ME TO HAVE ANY GUY FRIENDS. MY PARENTS DID NOT CARE FOR HIM THEY JUST GOT A WEIRD VIBE FROM HIM... WELL I BROKE IT OFF WITH HIM AND A FRIEND STARTING DATING HIM WE THEN FOUND OUT ANOTHER GIRL AT OUR SCHOOL WAS ALSO DATING HIM NICE GUY HUH!!!

What do you want your kids to remember the most about you? THAT I LOVED THEM NO MATTER WHAT AND THAT I BELIEVED IN THEM AND EVERYTHING THEY EVER DID IN LIFE(ASIDE FROM CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR!!!)

What did you learn the most from your mother? PATIENCE, HARD WORK AND TRY NOT TO SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF BECAUSE THERE IS ALWAYS SO MUCH BIGGER THINGS HAPPENING IN LIFE.

How many coupons do you use on a regular basis? What is your best money saving tip? I USE MAYBE 5 A MONTH. MY BIGGEST TIP IS TRY THE GENERICS YOU JUST MIGHT BE SURPRISED LIKE MY DH WAS!!!

How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you referred here? I FOUND MOMMYSAVERS WHILE SURFING THE NET WHILE ON MATERNITY LEAVE WITH MY FIRST SON. I REFERRED MY SIL BUT SHE HAS NOT JOINED JUST YET.

Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice, support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from? And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice? I HAVE BENIFITED MOST FROM THE FRIENDSHIP AND SUPPORT AND GREAT TIPS THE MOST.. I COULD NEVER PICK JUST ONE MEMBER THEY ALL HAVE BEEN SUCH GREAT HELP AND SUPPORT.

Have you ever met a mommysaver? NOPE

What is the most romantic thing your dh ever did for you? HE WILL SEND ME AN OCCASIONAL E-MAIL JUST TO TELL ME HE DOES APPRECIATE ME AND LOVES ME MORE THAN LIFE.

What hobby do you enjoy the most? What got you started on it? How would you rate yourself? Can you show us a picture of your proudest piece of work? I GUESS MY HOBBY IS READING BOOKS IT’S THE ONE THING THAT I CAN DO IN PEACE WITHOUT INTERUPTIONS AFTER EVERYONE IS IN BED(THEY ALL GO TO BED BY 8PM INCLUDING DH)

How many frogs did you kiss before you found Mr. Right? Was he worth the wait? LETS SEE I WAS YOUNG SO I WOULD SAY I KISSED 6 FROGS BEFORE I FOUND DH(WICH WAS MY SENIOR YEAR).

What is your favorite genre of music? Who is your favorite group? Have you ever seen them in concert? I DO LIKE ALL KINDS OF MUSIC BUT I WOULD SAY I LISTEN TO COUNTRY MOST. KENNY CHESNEY WOULD BE MY FAVORITE(DH THINKS HE IS GAY BUT I DON'T CARE LOVE HIS MUSIC) I DID SEE HIM YEARS AGO IN CONCERT AND IT WAS ONE OF MY FAVORTIE CONCERTS I HAVE SEEN.

List three things you have on your Life List; things you would like to accomplish before you leave this world. TO GET IN BETTER SHAPE, TAKE MY KIDS ON THE TRIP OF A LIFETIME, MAKE A DIFFERENCE I JUST ONE PERSONS LIFE WEATHER IT BE SOMEONE I KNOW OR A STRANGER.

Which room in your house best reflects your personality? I WOULD SAY MY KIDS ROOMS THEY ARE FUN AND FRIENDLY.

What do you see your children growing up to be like? What career path would they choose? I SEE MY OLDEST GROWING UP TO BE JUST LIKE HIS DAD(THEY ARE SO SIMILAR) HE WOULD MAKE A GREAT HUSBAND TO SOMEONE I SEE HIM BEING A FIREFIGHTER OR COP. MY SECOUND I SEE BEING SENSITIVE YET WILLING TO TRY THINGS OUT. I SEE HIM ALSO IN A FIREFIGHTER TYPE JOB. MY YOUNGEST IS MY SPITFIRE SHE IS GONNA CONQUER THE WORLD. I SEE HER BEING INDEPENDENT AND MAYBE IN A POWER TYPE POSTION. NO MATTER WHAT THEY CHOOSE I KNOW THEY WILL BE GREAT!

Is there something we would never guess about you? Some kind or quirk you have no one close to you knows about. (C’mon tell us!!!!) BY JUST MEETING ME YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW I HAVE TONS OF FEARS ABOUT DYING SO MUCH THAT I THINK IT SABOTAGE MYSELF FROM DOING THINGS THAT I SHOULD.. BUT IF YOU ASK ANYONE THAT KNOWS ME THEY WOULD NEVER SAY THAT IN A MILLION YEARS. GUESS IT’S THE GEMINI IN ME TWO PERSONALITIES.
