MS Mom of the Week is a fun way for us to get to know the Mommysavers members. Newbies to the board as well as regulars are welcome to participate. The Mom of the Week is randomly selected a week in advance of her being featured. I do this so I can contact you, let you know your feature date, and arrange to receive a picture from you to include with the survey. Having a picture included is so we can make it a little more personal and put a name to a face. This is optional of course, as are all the questions being asked. Were you ready for motherhood?
Yep. Took me 18 months to get pregnant, we had all but given up hope

Have you ever met someone who has completely inspired you to be a better person? Can you tell us about that relationship and how it has affected you?
I belong to a local moms group that has over 40 members, each of them has inspired me in a different way to be a better mother

Do you have any nervous habits? What are they? I talk alot when I get nervous

Did you ever date a guy your parents did not like? Were they right about him?
Of course and yes my dad was always right about the guys I dated. LOL. But shhh don't tell him that

What do you want your kids to remember the most about you?
That I loved to spend time with them and that I was always true to myself

What did you learn the most from your mother? How not to be a mother

How many coupons do you use on a regular basis? What is your best money saving tip?
I use alot I feed 7 people on $500 a month and sometimes it is tricky. My tip: Unless it is necessary don't buy it unless it is on sale.

How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you referred here?
Wow found it so long ago I can't remember, No referrals it is my little secret. LOL

Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice, support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from? And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice?
Can't remember names since so many have come and gone but I have gotten many great tips on so many things like cooking, crafting and parenting.

Have you ever met a mommysaver? Yes.

What is the most romantic thing your dh ever did for you?
My DH is very romantic and I have a bad memory but he always seems to do the right thing just when I need it the most.

My long legs, my hazel eyes, my generosity, my stubbornness and my sillyness

What hobby do you enjoy the most? What got you started on it? How would you rate yourself? Can you show us a picture of your proudest piece of work?
Hmm I am bad about hobbies I never really finish a project because I am a perfectionist. I just started sewing again and made my niece a cute pillow for Christmas.

How many frogs did you kiss before you found Mr. Right? Was he worth the wait? One before DH. He was worth the wait.

What is your favorite genre of music? Who is your favorite group? Have you ever seen them in concert?
I LOVE country but listen to pretty much everything. I LOVE Kenney Chesney and have not seen him in concert. I do have his autograph that my dad got when he saw him in concert.

List three things you have on your Life List; things you would like to accomplish before you leave this world
Great question. Go on a cruise with DH, be on the Oprah show, See my children have there children

Which room in your house best reflects your personality?
hmmm. I would say none yet. We moved in in March and I haven't found time to really get into one room yet.

What do you see your children growing up to be like? What career path would they choose?
Hmmm. Jade a teacher and Brynn a singer or something in the spotlight. Kylee is to young to know.

Is there something we would never guess about you? Some kind or quirk you have no one close to you knows about. (C’mon tell us!!!!)
Not sure of any. I have a big mouth so I keep no secrets about myself.

God doesn't give us anything we can not handle.
