Were you ready for motherhood?
Motherhood was a nice jump into adult hood. (I was 17 when I had my oldest son)
Have you ever met someone who has completely inspired you to be a better
person? Can you tell us about that relationship and how it has affected you?
My mom. She has always had a really rough, poor life, but at any point shed
give the shirt off her back to a complete stranger if they needed it. She
taught me to be open minded and caring to everyone, because everyone is
fighting a battle of their own. Shes taught me so many things- I could write
forever (lol).
Do you have any nervous habits? What are they?
I bite my nails,or if I'm super stressed I will clean. I will go on a massive cleaning spree.
Did you ever date a guy your parents did not like? Were they right about
him?
Nope. I've been with my husband since we were in 9th grade- my whole
family loved him from the beginning. I guess because he kind of grew up in
front of them.
What do you want your kids to remember the most about you?
Two things. 1. That I love them more than anything in the world. 2. That I was a caring
person who helped out as much as I possibly could.
What did you learn the most from your mother?
How to save money, where to cut corners to survive and still have a blast doing it!
How many coupons do you use on a regular basis? What is your best money
saving tip?
Oh goodness, I generally end up using coupons on about 80% of my
groceries. My best money saving tip would be to use manufacturer coupons
with store coupons (you save a TON!)
How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you
referred here?
I found Mommysavers when I googled frugal meals.
Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice,
support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from?
And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice?
I cannot pinpoint just one member because everyone here has been so very
helpful and friendly from the moment I joined- my only regret is that I
didn't join sooner. I want to commend every member for being awesome!
Have you ever met a mommysaver?
No. I don't think I even live near any
Mommysaver, but I would love to meet someone.
What is the most romantic thing your dh ever did for you?
My husband isn't very romantic. The only thing that comes to mind is last year he came home and asked me to carry in groceries and when I got out to the car he tell me
to get the ones from the front seat, and when I opened the door there were
flowers laying in the seat for me. Which was really sweet because it was my
birthday or any holiday.
Tell us five things you like about yourself.
-I am very open minded.
-My never ending want to help someone in need.
-That I was able to come up from nothing to having a successful, happy,
healthy family that might not be that way if it weren't for me.
-I am pretty creative.
What hobby do you enjoy the most? What got you started on it? How would you
rate yourself? Can you show us a picture of your proudest piece of work?
I don't really have a current hobby. I've went through stages, for example
last year I made felt things (lol) and made a TON of little finger puppets
for the kids, then I got into making notepads. But as of currently I think
the only "hobby" I have is clipping coupons lol!
How many frogs did you kiss before you found Mr. Right? Was he worth the
wait?
2. But that was because I wasn't aware that Mr. Right was there the
whole time. we've struggled a lot in our relationship- since we pretty much
grew up together. But I wouldn't trade him for the world. We complete each
other.
What is your favorite genre of music? Who is your favorite group? Have you
ever seen them in concert?
I love absolutely EVERY kind of music, pretty
much anytime you come into my house you will hear music playing. I really
love Pink. I haven't seen her in concert but I would love to.
List three things you have on your Life List; things you would like to
accomplish before you leave this world
1. See my kids grow up completely happy and successful.
2. Have my own Nonprofit group for mothers and struggling familys.
3. Travel. See everything there is to see.
Which room in your house best reflects your personality?
My dinning room.
For Christmas we were able to get new place settings and it looks so nice.
Its actually the only room in the house that is complete. We bought the
house 2 years ago and still haven't done much.
What do you see your children growing up to be like? What career path would
they choose?- I see my oldest son Chandler doing something giving back to the community,
police officer, firefighter, doctor or something along those lines. He is so
very caring. And so very giving its shocking to see a 7 year old act the way
he does.
- I see my middle son Ethan being something to do with computers or
electronics. Hes just like his daddy. Or maybe even something to do with the
marketing, he loves to learn about companies. hes so funny.
-Im not sure about my daughter Jayde shes 4 and really wants to be a
princess when she grows up (lol). I guess anythings possible right?
Is there something we would never guess about you? Some kind or quirk you
have no one close to you knows about. (C¹mon tell us!!!!)
I don't have very many "secrets"- but I think the only thing that no one
really knows is that I can draw. Really well too...
Are there words you live by? What are they?
"What doesn't kill you only
makes you stronger" and boy is that the truth!
