Have you ever met someone who has completely inspired you to be a better person? Can you tell us about that relationship and how it has affected you?
I would love to have met my husband's great grandmother. His Gramma talks about her like she was a saint! She raised 6 children and I've heard she never raised her voice to any of them! She lived to be 103 and her children took turns caring for her in her older years. What an amazing woman she must have been! Every time I raise my voice to my boys, I wonder how Great Gramma would have talked to them and how she would have hugged them so tight! Just hearing about her has affected me because now I live to be the best mom I can be!!!
Do you have any nervous habits? What are they?
When I get nervous, I talk A LOT!
Did you ever date a guy your parents did not like? Were they right about him?
Don’t we all?
What do you want your kids to remember the most about you?
I love them with every ounce of my being! I was kind and friendly to everyone who passed by my path.
What did you learn the most from your mother? Forgiveness
How many coupons do you use on a regular basis? What is your best money saving tip?
As many as I can! Best Money Saving Tip? NEVER pay full price for anything because it will go on sale at some point. When I see toys or items on clearance I know a family member or friend would appreciate, I purchase it and save it for the right occasion to use it.
How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you referred here?
I found Mommysavers about 7 years ago and have no idea how! I’ve told numerous moms about the site as I love it!
Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice, support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from? And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice?
Best advise? May sound silly, but to use a pizza cutter to up food when my boys were just starting to eat “real” food! It was so much easier than using a knife!
Have you ever met a mommysaver?
I met one about 4 years ago in Delaware . Now I’m in Arizona and still have yet to meet one.
What is the most romantic thing your dh ever did for you?
Surprised me on Christmas Eve 2006 with EVERYTHING a scrapbooker would want, without me every saying anything about how much I would like it all!!! I was told that the women in the store were eyeing up his shopping cart talking about what a lucky Christmas some woman was going to have!

What hobby do you enjoy the most? What got you started on it? How would you rate yourself? Can you show us a picture of your proudest piece of work?
My favorite hobby is scrapbooking. My husband got me started when, on Valentine’s Day 2006, he gave me a huge bundle of 12x12 paper, 3 empty scrapbooks and a gift card to our local Scrapbook store. I don’t spend too much time on a single spread, but I do enjoy what I create and think what I do is great for me (so, no rating!).
How many frogs did you kiss before you found Mr. Right? Was he worth the wait? My boys always ask me if I had a boyfriend before Daddy. My answer – Daddy has always been the first one I loved! I still think it’s funny to talk about how we met when I was 19 and he was 20 and know we’ve almost known each other for ˝ our lives!

I love 80s music!!!! The radio volume can’t go loud enough when I hear a song from the 80s!! My favorite group was Milli Vanilli, and YES – I actually did go to their concert. My dad got my best friend & I 14th row, center stage tickets!!!! And no, I never did turn them in for a refund because I was SO proud to love them and never really believed they weren’t actually singing themselves!

Are there words you live by? What are they?
I love my mom’s favorite quote: Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending . . . My personal favorite of all time: As Leo F. Buscaglia once said, "It's not enough to have lived. We should determine to live for something. May I suggest that it be creating joy for others, sharing what we have for the betterment of personkind, bringing hope to the lost and love to the lonely." Only you will be able to discover, realize, develop and actualize your uniqueness. And when you do, it's your duty to then "give it away."
