NO! I was taken completely by surprise and didn't warm up the idea until he was about 3 days old!
Have you ever met someone who has completely inspired you to be a better person? Can you tell us about that relationship and how it has affected
you?
My ex's mother Lisa. She is my mentor now and she is just so
loving, caring, kind, forgiving and the best mother and wife I have ever
met. She's taught me to be a better person by living your life to the
fullest, every day.
Do you have any nervous habits? What are they? Not really, I don't get
nervous easily.
Did you ever date a guy your parents did not like? Were they right about
him?
I've only really dated three guys in my life and my parents have
been wishy washy about all of them.
What do you want your kids to remember the most about you? That I loved them unconditionally and I did the best I could for them.
What did you learn the most from your mother?
How to stretch a buck and to do the best you can with what you have.
How many coupons do you use on a regular basis? What is your best money saving tip?
I use a TON (30+) coupons every week. Combine sales w/
coupons, don't buy something JUST because you have a coupon and do
everything you can to conserve energy to save on utility bills, unplug
things when not in use, turn up the thermostat and turn the lights off!
How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you referred here?
It was featured on my local news website because of the
coupon trains. I joined because of the coupon trains. I have told
numerous people about MS but I don't know that anyone has joined.
Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice,
support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from?
And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that
advice? When I posted the thread about trying to forget my ex a member PM'd me and said that she had been experiencing the same thing that
really touched me. I'm not going to name anyone because I don't want to
break that trust but her reaching out to me in such a trying time in my
life really helped me.
Have you ever met a mommysaver? Not yet, but I hope to one day.
What is the most romantic thing your dh ever did for you?
I don't know that I can choose just one but here recently he got a sitter on a Monday night and rented us a room in a really nice hotel so we could have a nice night to ourselves. He did it completely on his own and it was a
great night!

I really like to read. Reading lets you escape and take yourself
somewhere else. I don't get to read much but I love John Grisham
(Painted House esp.) and Nicholas Sparks.
How many frogs did you kiss before you found Mr. Right? Was he worth the
wait?
Just 2 and yes. God knew what he was doing when he brought us
together!
What is your favorite genre of music? Who is your favorite group? Have
you ever seen them in concert?
I really love all music with the exception of Blue Grass! I really like 3 Doors Down, Nickleback, MC Chris, Maria Carey's new CD, Saving Able (sp?) I've seen a lot of country concerts and Good Charlotte. I'm really a top 40's girl...

Seeing my son grown and accomplishing things in his own life, finish my degree and visiting Europe.
Which room in your house best reflects your personality?
My dining room kitchen reflects my down to earth, homey side (traditional sage green & creamy yellow, country decorations!) but my master bedroom reflects my wild & crazy side (Aqua walls & black swirl bedding!)
What do you see your children growing up to be like? What career path
would they choose?
He's only 2 so it's hard to say but I think that he
would be a great Engineer. Any kind, he loves trains but he also loves
to take things apart & put them back together and LOVES puzzles!
Is there something we would never guess about you? Some kind of quirk you have no one close to you knows about. (C’mon tell us!!!!)
Um, this is kind of hard but I think one thing would be that I would secretly love to be a race car driver. I love going fast (which I can't do much
anymore w/ a 2 year old!) ... Then again, maybe that's why I've had 5
speeding tickets!!! (none in the past 2 years though!)
