What are your kids’ names? Dustin, 9, Dalton, turned 5 yesterday
Were you ready for motherhood? Absolutely not!! I was a senior in high school when I got pregnant! I learned how a baby truly changes everything.
Have you ever met someone who has completely inspired you to be a better person? Can you tell us about that relationship and how it has affected you? My best friend. Her dd was a preemie and has had many issues. She is almost 4 and still cannot talk. It's hard to complain about a crying or screaming child, when some can't even do that.
Do you have any nervous habits? What are they? I bite my nails. I also seem to laugh or giggle when I'm nervous.
Did you ever date a guy your parents did not like? Were they right about him? yes and no. My dh and I have been together off and on since I was 14. And at one point my mom actually forbid me from dating him. Needless to say, she was wrong and we've been married now for 9 years.
What do you want your kids to remember the most about you? I just want them to remember how much I love them.
What did you learn the most from your mother? I guess mainly how NOT to discipline. I always said I would never discipline like she and my stepdad did, and I haven't.
How many coupons do you use on a regular basis? What is your best money saving tip? I use coupons every time I go to the grocery. Our Walmart does price matching. I know it's a lot of hassle, but every week I go through all the ads and write down all the things on sale that I buy. Then I have walmart match the price. It really does save me alot of money.
How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you referred here? I really don't remember how I found it, but I'm so glad I did! I have told many of my friends about it.
Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice, support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from? And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice? I have gotten so much advice from so many on this site. It really is unbelievable.
Have you ever met a mommysaver? Unfortunately, no.
What is the most romantic thing your dh ever did for you? My dh isn't really romantic. But to me, when he takes the kids when I need a break, or helps around the house, that's the stuff I love!
Tell us five things you like about yourself. I cannot think of 5 things, but I do think I have a good heart. I love helping people when I can.
What hobby do you enjoy the most? What got you started on it? How would you rate yourself? Can you show us a picture of your proudest piece of work? I'm not creative like most moms. I do enjoy reading, though.
How many frogs did you kiss before you found Mr. Right? Was he worth the wait? Not many. I have been with dh for a very long time.
What is your favorite genre of music? Who is your favorite group? Have you ever seen them in concert? Country. I love almost all the country artists out there. The only ones I've seen in concert are Tim Mcgraw and Josh Turner.
What do you see your children growing up to be like? What career path would they choose? It's really hard to say. They both love to build things and take them back apart again. My oldest ds is also very artistic. He can draw a lot of the cartoon characters on TV.
Is there something we would never guess about you? Some kind or quirk you have no one close to you knows about. (C’mon tell us!!!!) I can't really think af anything... I'm really a worry wart, but most people really close to me know this already, no matter how I try to hide it!!
Are there words you live by? What are they? Have fun everyday. You're not promised tomorrow, so make sure you have fun with your family everyday! Make sure they know how much you love them!!
