MS Mom of the Week is a fun way for us to get to know the Mommysavers members. The Mom of the Week is randomly selected a week in advance of her being featured. I do this so I can contact you, let you know your feature date, and arrange to receive from you a picture of yourself and/or you and your kids to include with the survey. Having a picture included with the survey is so we can make it a little more personal and put a name to a face. This is optional of course, as are all the questions being asked. If I don’t hear back from you before your “feature” date, I will randomly select the next person and then get back to you the next round. Mom of the Week will be featured on Monday mornings. Yes I was, We waited 3 years to have kids, I was 26 and DH was 29.
Have you ever met someone who has completely inspired you to be a better person? Can you tell us about that relationship and how it has affected you?
Yes my paretns. My parents are my idols, they have been thru many hurdles, and when in a bind or a jam, I always look back to my parents.

Do you have any nervous habits? What are they?
hmm, I can't think of any nervous habits and that means I probably don't.
Did you ever date a guy your parents did not like? Were they right about him?
Yes and BOY OH YES were they right.
What do you want your kids to remember the most about you?
How much mommy loves them, and was tried her best at everything.
What did you learn the most from your mother?
never give up.
How many coupons do you use on a regular basis? What is your best money saving tip?
Can't say how many coupons I use on a regular basis as sometime I don't use any, and sometimes I'll use about 20-30, It just depends on the sale. I try to save and use my coupons when there is a good sale (mainly on a promo items from the front page)
How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you referred here?
I think this is my stress relief. I rarely post my problems, but I know I can come here and vent and have found a few friends here who i can tell anything to. I believe I was just googling about debt reduction about 4-5 years ago and stumbled across this site, and have been here thru all the many different changes.
Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice, support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from? And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice?
It the support and great advice I get here for.

Have you ever met a mommysaver?
yes I've met two mommies from here, Kemtee and Anniebananine.
What is the most romantic thing your dh ever did for you?
When he proposed to me, it was awesome. He asked me to take the day off work (I worked 3 to 11pm), and meet him at the restaurant and it was my b-day that day. We get there, and just when we were finished eating, the waiter brings a dozen roses to our table (surprise #1), then we had gone to a hotel, and he had gotton the pent house suite, and I open the door, and there again were another dozen roses, then he asked me check for something in one of the cabinets, and I open it to find a wrapped box, I open it and find stuff from victoria secret. Then he asked me to go get some water from the kitchenette, and I open the cabinet to get a glass and find another box, open it to find some more stuff from Victoria's Secret, and as I was looking at the stuff, a box (ring) comes out, and he gets on his knees and the rest as they say is history.
Tell us five things you like about yourself.
ONLY 5? LOL, sense of humor, ability to do it all, i'm a great cook, I'm a great wife and ofcourse I'd like to believe I AM SUPERMOM.

I wouldn't say a hobbie, but just something I like to do, is pamper myself with pedicures, and facials every chance I get.
How many frogs did you kiss before you found Mr. Right? Was he worth the wait?
not too many, but yes he was def. worth the wait. We just celebrated our 9 year anniversary on Saturday.
What is your favorite genre of music? Who is your favorite group? Have you ever seen them in concert?
I from India, and I mainly listen to Indian (Bollywood) music. And I've been to many bollywood concerts in the DC area.
What do you see your children growing up to be like? What career path would they choose?

I see both my boys taking over my DH's hotel business on day. But I know first I want them to get a GOOD college education.

there are many things one can never guess about me, but one would have to def. be, you can't judge a book by it cover.

"Whatever happens, happens for the best"
-I know someone famous has probably said this, but this is what my mom always told us, and now I always say this to everyone.

Your dh sounds like a true romantic. He put a lot of thought and effort into your purposal. I hope he still does those sweet things!

I love Indian music!!! You can help but wanna move your hips when you hear it! I remember seeing it for the first time when we were in Bahrain. I was watching Indian MTV. I loved watching the videos and seeing the various women performing!! They were gorgeous!
