It is the names of two people who are really important to me.
Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice, support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from? And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice?Where do I start? I have learned so much from so many people! Claire for helping me find balance. How many coupons do you use on a regular basis?
Almost none. Canadian coupons rot. Once I had a $4 coupon for Tylenol and the generic was still cheaper.
What was your most recent "bargain"?
Butter was on sale last week at Shopper's Drug Mart for $2.99 a lb.
What have you done to save money this week?
Dh laughed about this one. We stayed in all week so much so that when I had to run and errand on Friday, there were spider webs on the car!
What do you consider a way of life that others think is a crazy way to save?
One car. Paid for with cash. Never had a car payment.
What is your favorite store in which to find bargains?
Shoppers Drug Mart is way overpriced but their sales are great. If I only buy what's on sale .. it's a great place to get a bargain.
What is the best deal you ever found (even if it wasn’t at your favorite store)?
I got my Landsend swimsuit for $14 in overstocks.
What is your best money saving tip?
Eat at home and use a menu.
What is your favorite frugal meal?
Spaghetti.
