What is your first name? Kelli
What are your kids’ names and ages? Aurora ~ 11, Karenna ~ 7, Lorelei ~ 5, Josie ~ 3
How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you referred here? I found MS through my SIL (Munchykay

) about 5 yrs ago. I had just started staying home and was looking at ways to make a dollar stretch more. I lurked for quite awhile ~ then took the plunge and posted. I've been here ever since.
What does your user name mean? DH is a gamer, and it's a name he always uses for his characters. It's a mix of my first name (Kel), my middle name (Lyn) and our DD#1's middle name (Kay).
Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice, support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from? And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice? There have been so many members who given great advice, it's too hard to remember who gave what when

. The thing I've benefited from the most is the Friendships. There is always someone on here who will pick you up when you are down, and make you snort diet coke out your nose when you need it! From things like "Old Navy T-Sh*ts on sale" to whomever it was that was "doing the dead" (instead of doing the deed) ~ there are many days I'm ROTFLMAO!
How many coupons do you use on a regular basis? Not too many any more. We don't get the paper, and most of my stores won't take the computer ones
What was your most recent "bargain"? I got all my kids BTS shoes (3 girls - 2prs each) for $40 YAY!!!
What have you done to save money this week? Ummmm ~ errrrr ~ ummmm....let's just say it's been a bad week. Ooo ~ I did take advantage of my garden and canned some more sauces. Also I froze some veggies (zucchini, squash, onions, celery, etc.) for winter. That will save me money down the road.
What do you consider a way of life that others think is a crazy way to save? I reuse the bags from DH's lunch instead of taking new ones each day. We can usually make it through the week (or longer) with the same ones. I also used cloth training pants & vinyl pants to potty train my girls. Most seemed to think it was gross, and didn't understand why I just didn't buy pull-ups.
What is your favorite store in which to find bargains? Target ~ they always seem to have the best clearance. For Groceries (in our area) I LOVE Hy-Vee!
What is the best deal you ever found (even if it wasn’t at your favorite store)? The girls Christmas outfits from The Children's Place Outlet one year. I got matching outfits for all 4 of my girls for $6 ($.99 each - two were 2 pieces). Regular price they would have been around $65.
What is your best money saving tip? Shop clearance but be careful ~ Don't buy something for sake of getting a good deal. It isn't a good deal if 6, 12, 18+ months later it's still sitting in your closet never used.
What is your favorite frugal meal? Currently eggs, pancakes & sausage. Eggs & bacon for us are basically free (thanks to the chickens & the hog we bought) ~ and pancake mix is minimal cost. For us, it feeds a lot for a little
Do you enter contests? If so, what is the best prize you’ve ever won? I do. The best thing I've ever won was a trip to Aruba from a local radio station.
If money were no object, what 3 things would you buy yourself or your family? College educations for my girls, a Log home in the mountains for vacation and/or rental use, and a whole herd of Alpacas.
If you had $10 to spend on yourself (you and you alone) what would you buy? a Mt. Dew, a box of Dots and scrapping supplies
Are there words you live by? What are they? "Let your freak flag fly! "
Sum yourself up in 1 word: Dork!
