Our first entry:

Here's a frugal tip... I'm organizing the next Lil' Red Wagon Sale events on 9/12/09 in Braintree, MA, & 9/19/09 in Plymouth, MA. It's a children's, women's & men's consignment & craft sale. Families can earn money selling their new or gently used clothes, accessories, hand bags, shoes, children's gear/equipment/furniture, maternity, & more. They can save money buying name brand items at 75% of retail prices. See Welcome to the Lil' Red Wagon Sale! Consignment & Craft Events for the Entire Family, Baby's, Children's, Women's, and Men's for more info.

Thanks, Lynn!

To save money I recycled paver bricks (our neighbor was going to throw them out) to make a small patio for our grill. It would have costs me at least $60 brand new, and I put them in myself - saving even more money on labor! It was a great project!

Thanks to Edith for this entry!

Thanks, Susie!

These are all the books I got from the library for potty training. They're not all potty training books, but it was nice to have something different to read to her while sitting there, and I wouldn't want to buy any "poopy books", as she calls them.

I reused gift bags for my husband's birthday gifts.

I love this prize package!!!

Here's my entry:

We made this pillow case for my hubby for fathers' Day. He has been deployed 300+ days and this is our way of giving him a piece of home every night he's away from us.

Posted these pictures on my blog and discussed frugal ways to save on "snacks"

I no longer buy chewy granola bars (since they started boxing them in groups of 5 and not 6 anymore) nor do I buy boxed cookies. I now bake my snacks from scratch. This took twenty minutes to do and will last the week if not longer.

These are my favorite easy granola bars. they are jammed packed with goodness: sliced almonds, coconout, chocolate chips, cranberries and rolled oats!

Back home we call these "haystacks" (being a farm family and all) but they are also known as "no bakes". I love them because they are quick and easy and chocolatey good!
