I am looking for those that want to partner with me to raise money for my 3-day cancer walk. This partnership would essentially be a fundraiser for me and a way for you to make money, get your name out there with free advertising and get your products out there with increased sales.
My initial thoughts are this: You decide what you would like to sell and what type of discount you will give for your merchandise if they give a donation to the Susan G Koman 3-day walk under my name.
For example; I would post on my page under the blog that _enter business or personal name_ will provide a 10% - 50%discount on anything ordered IF you make at least a $10-25 (need to figure out what is reasonable based on your prices) donation under my name. I will provide the link to your site/e-mail for more information. Then you can send out my link to all those in your address book to promote your "sale" and my 3-day cancer walk page. If you have a web page for your business, you would be able to promote your sale and enter my link directly to my 3-day page.
You can verify with me that they indeed made a contribution before you give them the discount.
I would work with one or two WAHMs per week so that I didn't get confused on letting you each know who has made a contribution.
Does that make sense? Who's willing to give it a try?? What can it hurt? Who doesn't like to get something on sale and help out a great organization in the process? Plus it is tax deductible. It's a win - win with very little effort for both of us.
You can reach out to all your friends and family that live by the 10/10/80 rule - where the first 10% is to donate 10% of their income to a charitable organization.
