Money Saving Tips

Thrift Store Decorating  Like most moms, I have a deluge of artwork that comes home from school with the kids. I hate throwing it away and often wonder what I can do with it to display it or preserve it. One solution is to create a collage frame. Here's how I made one using a thrift store find and a can of spray paint

Saving on Moonsand Use your 40% Michael's coupon from the Sunday insert for all sorts of kid-fun stuff including birthday gifts like Moonsand. Michael's also carries tons of Crayola products, Klutz activity books, cookbooks and some American Girl books, and in some cases Thomas the Tank Engine products from Learning Curve (not all stores).  What do YOU get with your Michael's coupon?

Homemade Baby Food  I make the vegetable/fruit in the crockpot, then I puree it (a little chunky for my DD), and put it in Ice Cubes then I pop them out, and put them in Ziploc bags. Every night after dinner, while making my DS (5 yrs) lunch, I take some out for my DD for the next day.  So easy! -- member ICStarrs
