Do Debbie Meyer Green Bags Work? I've seen the Debbie Meyer Green Bags advertised on TV and was curious about if (and how) they worked. They claim to absort ethylene gases, which cause fruit and produce to ripen. If the gasses are absorbed, supposedly the produce stays fresher longer.  But are they worth their $10 price tag?  Find out...

Don't Throw it Out! When we buy refrigerated cinnamon rolls at the store I keep the metal lid inside that separates the icing.  I use these at Christmas time for ornaments. They are great to decorate on one side and put a photo of my kids on the other.   It's a great keepsake, and a lot cheaper than buying photo ornaments! -- Jen

Another Use for Old Clothes We reuse them!  We take dad's old shirts and restructure them into dresses for baby/toddler girls. We remake adult (women's or men's) t-shirts into dresses or pants for our kiddos. We also shop at the Goodwill and buy sheets or very large skirts/dresses and remake them into other clothing items or bags.  -- Kristin
