Making Your Own Ice Cream + Coupons  July is National Ice Cream month (now that's an occasion I can give my full support!). That means that supermarkets everywhere have tons of it in stock - and are putting it on sale. Look for great bargains this week and next. Then, see if you can combine those bargains with printable coupons. Here are just a few:

Ice Cream in a Bag
This is SOOO easy... and delicious! In a small Ziplock bag, put:

1/2 C. half and half (milk works too)
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Insert that bag into a larger, one gallon Ziplock filled with ice and salt. Shake the bag for five minutes. Kids love that part! Then, remove the smaller bag which should have turned into ice cream.  Click here for flavor variations
