Recycle Those Old JeansQuilts, pillows, bags... read about how our members are recycling worn out blue jeans. Member Swishina made this bag with the bottom of a leg of a pair of old jeans.
Frugal Snack Ideas I make homemade Uncrustables for my kids. No need for fancy cookie cutters. We use soft whole wheat bread, a 40-oz. container of Jif peanut butter, and jelly. Make your PB&J then take the lid from the peanut butter jar and place it on your sandwich. Press down and twist your wrist a few times. Voila! The crust is removed and sandwich is sealed so there is no peanut butter or jelly leaking out the side. The larger jar has a large enough lid that you are not wasting anything but the crust. -- Member normacb
Make your own bagel chips from day olds. My son LOVES dipping these in my homemade hummus! Thinly slice bagels, grease a cookie sheet (cooking spray or oil), place "chips" on cookie sheet in a preheated oven to 350 for about 15-20 min (I flip 1/2 way through). Note: to flavor your chips, just mix whatever seasoning you like with some oil and brush chips before baking. -- Member momof2boys2005
