If you're not on our Mommysavers Facebook Fan Page yet, you're missing out. Last week many of our fans posted their frugal tips and photos on our wall. We had so many great contributions, I decided to highlight some of them in this week's newsletter. Thanks to everyone who participated!
I took an old sweat jacket, cut the arms off at the seam, sewed them together, then hemmed the waist and added elastic to make a little pair of jogging pants for my baby boy. The dark pants are from the sweat jacket, the light pants I used for sizing. Great way to save money and recycle old clothing! - Facebook Fan Jennifer
I organize all my coupons in a binder so it's easy to match them up in the grocery store. - Facebook Fan Shannon (click to see photo)
I keep my coupons organized in a flexible file. Organization is key when it comes to saving money! - Facebook Fan Catherine (click to see photo)
When I print coupons I use both ends/side. Once it prints the first time I flip either upside down or to the other side and print another. That way I've used the whole paper not just a part of it. -- Facebook Fan Jenny
Instead of throwing away the crumbs from your cereal boxes as you get to the end of the box, save them and use them in future recipes. I used the left over Raisin Bran to make these delicious muffins. I got yummy homemade muffins without having to run to the store for ingredients because I had the left over Raisin Bran on hand! - Facebook Fan Misty
I've been hitting Walgreen's all year with my coupons. This year's stockings will be stuffed with all kinds of great stuff that I got for free or on super sale. -- Facebook Fan Kim
