Did anyone pick up a seasonal job for the holiday season? If so are you getting a nice discount at the store?

I have not this year, but I have in years past and I got around a 20% - 30% discount depending on the store. I think it's a nice easy way to make some extra holiday cash for moms b/c the hours can be very flexible.

I have in the past, but with dh at work full time and at grad school and me working full time there is no way this year unless I do not want to sleep at all. Since we were able to save enough for Christmas we do not have to worry thank goodness

I'd like to, but I'd need a more reliable baby sitter first.

I tried and not one single place that I applied at called me back after I called them ALL at lease once if not twice to follow up. I was so frustrated with it. And I applied at all of the major stores too. Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Shopko, Home Depot and Walgreens. Not one! I don't have any reason why they wouldn't either Except that I need afternoon or 3rd shift hours. Just frustrating!
