I live in Canada. I have two kids (ages 8 & 10) and I'm a PhD widow. (My dh works full time and is in the middle of getting his PhD so I hardly ever see him).

I have had a passion for personal finance going back quite a few years but I found MommySavers in 2006.

Anyhow I work part-time outside of the home and love learning about different ways to save money. I am new to this in a way, although I have always shopped thrift stores and yardsales. I am stepping it up a notched now that I see that most of our money goes to food I am trying to really save money there. I am excited to be a part of mommy matters with Kathryn. I found this site in 2007 when I was a stay at home mommy and pregnant with my third baby.

My names Trudy,I'm 36 and live in Ohio with my family.Although I am an AVID couponer and money saver I am really looking to buckle down and see what I can accomplish this year financially I am currently getting bombarded w/medical bills at the moment so I am looking to dig us out of that......

it's gonna be a challenge but I am looking to find ways to make it a fun one(good luck w/that huh) I CAN DO IT!!! Staying positive,I believe, is a big part of it.
