I'm interested. I'm not into the gloom and doom mentality of the survivalists, but I like to be prepared for what might happen. For instance we live near a nuclear power plant, we have tornadoes, and we both need a plan in place in case of a medical disaster since we are both in healthcare. Who would take care of the girls in case of a medical emergency where neither of us could leave work for an extended period of time? We faced this a bit during the floods last year, and the hours dh put in.

Ditto for me. Are we waiting for more people to respond? If so, I will just check back in periodically. Have a great day!

I have reserved the 2009 version of "Patriots: Surviving the Coming Collapse" by James Wesley Rawles, at the local library. It comes in July 7th and can't wait. I love to read and this should be interesting and scary?

I've always wanted to curve pumpkin like this, but every time it becomes a mess. I'd follow your tips next time, hope it works. Thanks for sharing.
