Another idea is to take your coins and loose change in to the bank for cash. Also, at Coinstar kiosks, they are offering free coin counting when you turn coins into a Gift Card or eCertificate instead of cash. Time to go through your pockets and couch cushions!

I'm still learning about My Points but my friend who does it sais she earns gift cards all the time. You can chose to get emails from them and if you read them you get points, if you link through their website to buy from stores you get points, you get points for surveys, etc. My friend sais if you get e-mail offers and you chose to accept (she's done lots of picture offers lately) you also get points. When I looked at the site you needed quite a bit of points to get different gift cards, but from what I've heard it's pretty easy.

HTH!

I like the resale shop- I did it for the first time last month and got $40

I have never sold on ebay- too me Ihave not had the time to learn hoe to sell and then you have to go to the post office- too much trouble with my kids right now.

Gagrage sale- you have to put out an ad- then everyone wants to buy for 50 cents or $1

IT really all depends on what you have to sell I guess. My SIL swears by ebay

I was thinking that resale shops would probably be easier for me, but I didn't know if that is the best money maker. Thanks for your input!!

Thanks for the info. I probably just need to go to their site and read more about it. It may be something good for me to do.

That's one thing I do. One way I get change is giving myself a cash allowance for the groceries and what ever the house needs and put the change in a jar (that's how we went on Vacation last year!).

I just opened a savings account that I can move money online from my checking account. Then any money I save grocery shopping etc., I can move to my savings account, even if it's only $10, it still adds up!

I love My Points, I read emails for 5 points each and when I want to purchase something online I always check with My Points to see if I can get to the store through them so that I get so many points per dollar spent. A good example of this is right now if you go to your My Points account and click on the Ebay icon it takes you to Ebay through My Points and you get like 4 points per dollar spent. I saved up enough points and got a $50 gift card to help with the cost of my ds Christmas gifts this year!!

Very good program to get in!
