I am not a huge fan of Good Will, but today I stopped in the local one on a whim, and noticed they had several nice looking bikes out front. I looked them over and noticed that one was a Trek Jet in the next size up from what my ds is riding. But these bikes retail for $150-200, so I was expecting a big sticker price. But the tag said $19.99, and the store was having an extra 25% off all purchases today.

I could not believe my luck! It was in great condition, so I snapped it up. I put it in the garage and told dh to go see what was out there- he couldn't believe it either. This might be my greatest find ever:D

That's a GREAT deal!! My dh and I are avid cyclists (well I am when I'm not pregnant ) and I'd love to find a deal like that. When dh came home from his deployment we bought him a brand new road bike, which is worth the $$ we paid for it but we still had a bit of "sticker shock" LOL (we also had the $$ in savings from the extra pay from him being in Iraq so we could afford it).

I wish we had a better Good Will by our house. There isn't another one anywhere near, either. I know a lot of people who get great bargains in their areas, but this one is just empty.

That is so great!! I wish my good will had better deals. I'll go in looking for clothes for DS and they will be charging $1.99 for a stained white onsie, or $5.00 for a pair of Target brand pants. Most of the time I just feel it isn't worth my time. I to go every once in a while hoping I will get a great find, but so far nothing.

I will say that I do love the fact that mine has a garage that you pull into when you donate stuff and someone gones out and unloads it for you. No cold snowing trips back and forth from the van for me. That part I do love.
