What qualities do you think a person, good with money, has? Or should have?

I think a solid understanding how the system works. They should know about investment options, How interest rates work, Tax benefits to investments, How to set a budget and stick with it, The importance of saving, the importance of having diverse investments and the importance of living within your means.

I read recently a list of qualities the next door millionaire has. From what I remember: living way below means, driving modest cars, owning a modest house, not spending to keep up with Joneses, sound investments, picked the right career (whatever that means).

The article also went on to say that people you see with the flashy cars and houses, designer everything is generally not your next door millionaire. Usually they are the Joneses. hahaha!

I cant remember where I read that article otherwise I would link it!

To understand need vs. want. That and strong math and investment skills.
