we have 2 cars but both are paid for so no car payments don't know what we will do if one of them dies..dh's car has ran for 3 years and we only paid 150 bucks for it so it has been awesome...my van i only paid 1600 for at the auto auction and it has been great so knock on wood we have 2 cars but ya never know one could crap out then we would only have 1 car.

We have been a 1 car family for over 4 years now. Im pretty use to it. We use to live really close to dh's work.. but now we're a good 30 minutes out.. and with 3 kids and gas prices.. its too much of a hassle to take him/pick him up from work. We're pretty use to being at home during the week (saves us money too. lol)

I have a friend who lives on the next street over that we ride with if we want to go do stuff. I would love to be able to just get up and go and run errands and stuff but just cant do that right now. Im sure we'll get another car when the kids start school.
