Is there such a thing? Please share your tips and ideas!

It's our 10th wedding anniversary in June and because we can't do anywhere to exciting we thought about Vegas since we've never been.

I found flight and hotel from $350 per person and up and both our parents are chipping in as our gifts...

Has anyone ever stayed on budget in Vegas?

Thanks for the help!

I never been there before- but I heard that in most casinos- you get your drinks for free and there is a ton of Buffets. The only thing I can think of is to look it up on the computer to see what kind of deals they have- have a fun and safe trip!

I used to be a travel agent so I hope some of this helps.

-Start looking NOW.
-Go through a travel agent. If they are any decent they will try and find you the BEST deal that they can. If they are like me they want you to have fun not waste your money on the package and then not have enough money for shows and food!
-Many shows have Buy one get one free admission. Even if you do not see the main shows the smaller shows are sometimes even better!
-Do you know anyone that works for an airline or hotel or even travel agency? They can often get you really great rates on flights or hotel stays.
-Standard hotel rooms are just as good as fancy suites. You won't be in the room very often with all of the sites to see. Or will you?
-Like stated above bundle your trip book air+hotel+shows at the same time this can save you a lot because they are reduced rates.(usually)

We are going in October for my best friends wedding and I am already looking for rates. Luckily my parents are going as well and we are sharing a room. My dh may not go so then it will save us a little as well.

If you have any questions pm me. I have a lot of connections still and am very knowledgable on the topic. If you go through a travel agent and something doesn't seem right don't hesitate to ask I will gladly help you out!

Good luck and if I think of more I will post!!!

Jessica, where in california are you? I'm in southern ca. and we go very often to vegas. I can tell you a lot about the hotels. restaurants, shows, shopping, etc. Let me know what you're considering as far as which hotel!
