What is the dumbest non frugal thing you do?

OK- Here it is. I am almost too embarrased to post this:

DH airconditions the GARAGE! He bought a window unit and leaves it running on low all day, even if the garage doors are open. I CRINGE when I hear it running. DH likes to woodwork, so I agree he needs A/C out there... but all day, especially during the week? Quick, get a pitch fork. Shovel the money out of the window!

As for me- I'm terrible about wasting food... you know the soggy brown lettuce? Moldy sweet potatoes? Yuck! There should be no closed little drawer at the botom of the fridge. It's a total set up!

Ok- and there is the target toy thing

I have to say I waste food and buy WAY TO MUCH clothes for the kids and myself. Recently, I went 3 weeks without doing a load of laundry and they still had clean clothes. That's gonna stop.

Are you my twin? lol. I waste fresh fruits and vegetables like there's no tomorrow. DH turns my central air down to 65 even when he's not home!

I waste food and it bugs me. We are terrible at left overs and I end up throwing fruits and veggies away.

I also buy way to many clothes for my kids. It is insane the amount of clothes my dd has.

I am horrible at tossing stuff...I am probably the most UNclutterbug of my family. I don't even have my high school yearbooks. Dh and kids all know that if they leave stuff out, chances are, it won't be there the next time they go to get it...and I do mean GONE. It was pointed out to me recently that if I was to stockpile this stuff, I could actually be MAKING money. Hmmm...now THERE is a thought! Also, TWICE this past spring, I didn't keep up with the groceries being put away and both times later found WalMart bags with bad MEAT in them. I was SO mad at myself.

well keeping up with the laundry i let it pile up and then i hate to fold it but i am doing really good now that i'm just in charge of folding( i can do this while lying down)...

I make several trips to the local walmart or taget to pick up one thing and alwys end up spending at least $60 by the time I'm done. Mostly things for the kids that they don't need. (ex. sandals for my 8 mos. old, cookies, headbands)

Im a freak when it comes to scrapbooking supplies, office supplies and makeup. I own way more of all 3 than Im sure I need. But Im happy! rofl
