Between liquid and powder washing agents? Like dishwashing soaps and laundry detergent?

Any thoughts?

My dishwasher doesn't seem to like the liquid detergent, something about the phosphate level, the manufacturere told me. It wasn't cleaning my stuff well, and left a funny smell.

I usually get liquid laundry soap, I just think it's less messy than when I spill powder everywhere.

I like the liquid for clothes and dishes since the powder seems to clump.

If you have a septic system, you should use liquid laundry detergent. I use Electrasol all in one tabs for my dishwasher.

The dry laundry detergent usually needs to dissolve in warm water. Warm water runs up your electric bill. I go with liquid.

I use liquird laudry detergent for the reason mentioned above, I like to wash darks in cold and the powder doesn't always disolve.

For the dishwasher I like the tabs and now dollar tree carries them.

i use liquid for laundry(though i keep on hand arm & hammer poweder for towels) as for dishwasher i like powder better we have hard water(even with a softner) and it seems to get my dishes cleaner tried the tabs that have like dawn in them and they left plastic residue on my dishes and my dishwasher stunk.. so i won't ever buy those again.

I have used both powder and liquid for my clothes. I found that I shouldn't use liquid because I am apt to use more since it is easy to just dump it in without measuring. Can't do that as easily with the powder. I am more disciplined to measure the powder - don't know why.

With my dishes I splurge in cost and buy the tablets. I have also found that though more expensive initially I, again, don't have to measure and I don't go through it as fast. The reg powder or liquid I just dump in and I am sure that I am using more than I need to. With the tablets I can also be sure that the kids are putting in the correct amount when they are in charge of the dishes.
