I have just started selling on Ebay again to bring in that little extra, and I have been using it to buy things for the new baby that we need to get. It is making a big difference.

I also know people who laugh when i say I work two shifts a week, but they dont realize that it works into paying my mortgage at the end of the month.

every little bit does help.

I would tutor after school. I used to do that when I was in grad school and it was some pretty easy money for not a lot of time.

I feel like I'm already pretty bare bones as it is and $300 is already a pretty big percentage of my monthly income so it would be hard to increase it by that much. I have never sold on ebay but keep thinking I will sell DS old clothes on there so that could bring in something but probably not $10/day. I'm not very crafty so that' not a good alternative for me but I would certainly get another job if I ever needed it to pay my bills. If I was desperate I would start with a massive garage sale - I've typically made $3-400 when I've done that once a year.

I could cut out cable, internet and newspaper but even combined those are only about $10/week.

When we were sending the little one to a Montessori Preschool last year her tuition was about $300 a month. Now that she is going to a charter school (like a private school but paid by state funds so it is free), I can't really tell you where that tuition money went. I just absorbed it into our budget. I'd work my LiveOps job a little bit more and I'm more likely to spend a little bit freely more - treats and stuff. If I had to find $300 a month, I'm sure I could by making small adjustments in how we live day to day.

If I had to come up with 10 bucks a day I guess I would go back to something I did before I moved.

I use to food shop from a few older ladies in my area. I started with three it ended up 12 ladies. Thinking about it I had fun doing it. They wrote the list I picked it up. I charged 6 bucks a bag.

i could go back to doing my extended families hair...i quit because they all (including some of my own siblings) started to take advantage of me and would conviently forget to pay me i charged $5 bucks for a hair cut $15 for a perm and $20 for any type of color...so i feel i was cheap.. but if i had to make that 10 bucks a day i could probably make it this way only with a clear set of rules this time.

Hummm interesting thread... for me I would say either go back to making my primitive dolls and what-nots, sell them on eBay or other things on eBay, pet sitting, baby sitting, housekeeping (which I have done and make $500 one month for 2 weeks work), cut down on getting coffee or reeses some days and bascially cut costs if I couldn't sell anything or get a job somewhere.

There are many possibilities on how each of us can get $300 extra per month, while some might think it sounds hard it probably wouldnt be once we got used to it, lol
