I got rid of my 2000 pontiac grand am, I sure do miss it, but the payments were too much. I also just recently talked dh into selling the camper. It would have been paid off around 2008, but we were struggling each month with bills, and I told him why shoudl we pay for a camper we only use once a year? Now we have a 1999 toyota corolla (paid off), a 1997 jeep grand cherokee (dh won it off of ebay for an insanely cheap price. He had been bidding on several cars, but never got them due to him always being outbid, or if he did win, he seller backed out saying he could not sell it that cheap. Then one day he won a bid on the jeep, but he told me he was sure he would not get it due to it being to cheap. Well the guy who was selling it was a car salesman, and believe it or not was honest! He said he would not go back on his word, and he sold it to us!) The jeep will be paid off in the fall. Dh also has a big old truck that is paid off. He used it to tow the camper. We don't ever drive it due to gas prices, but everyonce in a while he will drive it. He will not sell it though I think he should.
