We love books so we use Amazon.com. Up to this point, we'd get a $25 gift certificate every month. However, some months I don't even use it as we go to Half Price Books are are going to the library more. It *is* nice, but since we've cut down using our cc, I'd much rather save for the book and buy it at Half Price or just borrow it from the library. It seems like you are getting a great perk, but in reality if you spend less $ you'll have the $ to buy whatever books you really want anyway.

I use my Discover card to get rewards too, I recently got $40 doubled cause I got the Ultra Diamond certificate. I used it to partially pay for my husbands wedding band. I think discover card has the best reward program.

I have a Sheetz mastercard. It's through Chase. You get 3% on purchases at Sheetz (gas and food) or 1% everywhere else. Once it gets to $25, they send you a $25 Sheetz card. So far I've had $75 free gasoline :yay!:

The first 60 days having the card it was 10% on Sheetz purchases, so the first 2 months I had $50!

Love it, I get all my gas with it.

we use Discover Platimun 1% on all purchases, 5% on different purchases that they come up with (right now it's travel purchases) last spirng it was gardening, I hope they do that one again. There's no limit and you can either get cash, gift cards with higher values ($25.00 for $20.00) or donate to charity and they will add to it.

Citicards Dividend Platinum MC- 2% on groceries and gas 1% on everything else. $300.00 per calendar limit.

My husband use the MC for all his company purchases. We always reach the $300.00 limit. I use the Discover for groceries, gas, medical bills, utilities, dining out, etc. anything I can. I get the gift cards mostly for gifts and personal use. We pay them off every month, without fail. Instead of them making money off us, we now make money off them. It's payback time!
