Wow ladies... I'm so impressed that you know all that. I have no clue how the money is distributed, really. I know this sounds terrible, but I sort of like it that way. (Yes, I've seen all the shows about women who get divorced and are clueless about the finances... that would be me if we ever got divorced.)

All I know are the big ones... electric in the summer *alone* was $450 in June, again in July and again in August. It's lower now that it's winter (we're in Arizona) but I have no idea what our mortgage is, or his exact income b/c it's all put in so many different places (retirement, college funds for kids, savings, etc...) And, as far as car payments go, dh paid off the cars with a zero-interest credit card, so our credit card has $60K on it, but we pay zero interest. In fact, we have never paid any cc interest in 8 years of marriage...so don't worry, it won't suddenly jack up to 20%. DH is on top of it.

Anyway, I know I should be aware of our money a bit more. Bottom line is we exceed our take-home pay by a couple thousand each month, so that's where mommysavers comes in. When I stop my own spending, we are ok. If I am on a spending binge, we are in the hole. That's all I know.

We have 2200 a month and I dont have it all broken down but I cant tell you some

1098. morgage that includes taxes and insurance
400 for all expendables , includes diapers and pet supplies and gas for my car
75 for car insurance
150 electric
35 cabel
60 internet and phone
40 water

that leaves me wiht 342 to pay on credit cards and after that we have nothing. We are pennyless between paychecks. Thank god we dont have a car payment. Should I be working YES! but with no free child care and dh in school at night thats just not possible.

Our take home monthly is around 2000, although sometimes it is higher when my husband works overtime. The only debt we have is our mortgage, and we are on a plan to pay that off in 8 years, sooner if I go back to work when the kids start school. Our basic budget is:
300 tithe
800 mortgage
140 utilities
200 phone/cell/directtv
75 car ins
485 gas/groceries/other expenses
We just do our best and leave it to God. Whenever we have things come up, we've always had the money. So far we haven't had to dip into our savings account. It's been the greatest gift to be able to stay at home with my kids. I
