We just filed our taxes today, and are getting a little money back. I know I should use the money to pay down some debt, but don't you ever just want to buy something new?? I know it is selfish and not practical, but paying bills all of the time can get so depressing.

i did our taxes today too! we're getting some back. i guess we're gonna pay down some debt too. i told dh that we could pay some things down or off but we also needed to do at least 1 fun thing with a little of it. paying bills is awfully depressing!!!! I'm just glad we're getting something back last year we had to pay!!

We got ours back Friday and I paid off the Visa and Best Buy so no credit card debt now. Just vehicle house and utilities. I want to get counter tops __ I only have about 15 ft of counters so I just want the cheap stuff for now. My colors are a dark sagey green and one red wall--the countertops in there are kinda a cross between periwinkle and sky blue!!!
Then my husband wants $1000. put in savings and if he starts being nicer maybe a nintendo wii for him lol.

We have some home improvement/maintenance projects coming up this summer. (Although I don't know how much our tax return will be, or if it will cover these)

We have done our taxes and have received the smaller of the two refunds. What we plan to do :

-pay off CC (1500.00)
-buy couch/loveseat or chair(300.00) from Craigslist.
- the rest goes into savings because we will be moving out of the in-laws house in June!!!
