Thanks for this calculator. That's a lot easier for me to use than my noggin!

Wow, thanks for the calculator. Put everything in prespective. Our net worth is actually a lot more than I thought it would be.

My 401k finally rebounded so that helped increase our net worth.

Now that we've done that, does anyone want to start a thread on Cash Flow? That's our biggest sticking point.

My husband changed jobs a year ago. He went from being paid on the 1st and the 15th to being paid on the 5th and 20th. You know what? Those 5 days make a huge difference. I had a lot of payments set up for automatic withdrawl from our main checking acount on the 15th. Those few days right in the middle of the month can get pretty tight - and I have a HUGE buffer in our account now, too. On top of it, the new company doesn't provide hubby with his own travel credit card. He uses one of ours and we submit expense reports to pay that bill. The problem is hubby travels so frequently - and for so long - that sometimes I have to pay the bill with our own cash because the receipts aren't available to submit. Our cash flow problem has derailed mein 2006. I'm working now to try to get a handle on it.
