We have been using the online billpay thru our bank for a while now for most of our bills. The car insurance and mortgage are taken out by the merchants at the same time every month. It is so much easier, and not having to write checks or having to buy stamps all the time is one less thing to have to deal with. We rarely write checks anymore except for the weekly donation to our church. I am also starting to sign up to receive my bills online rather than thru the paper mail. Cuts down on the paper trash and clutter.

I have never paid a bill on line! I am feeling really behind the times. I sit down with my check book 2 times a month and pay my bills. I have always done it that way and have never had a problem. I also do not own a debit card. I write checks for everything. Our life insurance is taken right out of our account, but I really don't like that too much either. I like to have the control over paying it myself.

I'm sitting here trying to think if there is anything I don't pay through on-line banking and I really don't think there is one thing! Mortgage, car payments (when we had them), phones, cable, internet, utilities etc. etc. All are paid on line.

I bet in the past 2 years that we have lived in this house, I have written maybe 5 cheques. Most were for personal cheques that I needed to give to someone but that's it.

I have often said that on-line banking was my #1 time saving feature based on the number of trips I used to make to the bank.
