You are reading my mind about this poll, Kim.

All I say is that we save enough - and take advantage of the matching program with the government to its full amount available.

Honestly, I don't feel comfortable giving out as much information as a lot of you do.

I put in 3% and my employer matches up to that which is great. We just switched over to a 401K. We were on a SEP where the employer contributed 15% of our gross pay for the prior year. Oh did I love that but times are harder now so they switched us to a 401K.

right now we save 10% we plan to bump it up to 15% next fall when dh gets a raise..

Luckily my dh & I were able to save money before we had kids and I stopped working. Now we really live paycheck to paycheck (although fairly comfortably) so don't reallyadd to our savings much. I guess we should do better.
