It seems like Money is a hot topic. We're all trying to save, get the best deal or college or retirement. Does anyone else just get tired of it all. Clipping coupons, shopping sales, second hand stores. If the price of stuff was not an option, would you still be like you are about money. I know I get tired of clipping coupons, looking through ads, running from store to store for the deal, only having 100 for every 2 weeks.

If you could what would you do differently. Here's mine.

Made savings a priority, just like another bill
Same with retirement
Started earlier with cash only
Planned better.

I don't regret anything, but just looking back!!! I'm just getting to the point that I HATE money!!!

I get fed up. It gets excuasting to figure out how to get a dime out of a nickel.
We noticed today that we are going to need a new roof soon and that means I have to start saveing yesterday. How am I supose to save when I barely have enough to pay the bills? Money is evil. I gave up on coupons and noticed I'm acctualy spending less now. But we dont have as many good snacks.

I'm not sick of money, but from the lack of it. I have some major things I have to pay, can't get out of it, and when they're paid, I simply don't have enough to feed my family. I'm in such a depressed hole right now because of it.

I actually stopped watching the celebrity shows like ET and reading celebrity mags because all they do is flaunt their money, and the chasm between the haves and have nots is so wide right now. These mags were actually depressing me more.

I just wish we had started out knowing what we know now. We knew nothing and paid for some big time mistakes. Money just wasn't discussed. I think our parents thought we we learned it in school. And, we just figured that we were doing what everyone else was - what could be wrong with that? If we only knew!

If we had started out correctly, we wouldn't have to be trying to make up so much ground now. Making up for lost time . . .

I get SOOO tired of worrying about money! It is a constant worry. We are going to have a house payment this year, and even though we haven't even built the house yet, it's already stressing me out!

I know how you all feel. I agree if only we knew then what we know now! That would have solved LOTS of problems. I am tired of trying to save and be frugal only to have dh say we aren't poor, we can go out to dinner, I can run the shower water for 10 minutes before I get in, I can let the faucet leak for 2 years, why are you adding water to the shampoo? How come we eat so much mac n cheese? I could go on!

I have to say we are the same when it comes to money. I feel like a slave to coupons. I don't think I would stop clipping coupons though if money wasn't an issue. I know how much I could save with coupons now so I don't think it would matter. I don't mind shopping at second hand stores right now because my kids don't care if it is name brand. The money that I save now on clothes I will spend it all when they do care :D

I don't think I would change the way I shop even if I had tons of money. There is no reason to waste it!!! I would have loved to have been wiser with my money when we were younger in our marriage, but hey, it shapes who I am today, so really I have no regrets.

I'm with happymom. My dh and I were financially quite comfortable before we had kids and I quit work, but I was STILL frugal. Yes, I did spend a little more and we took nicer vacations, but I still shopped sales and looked for bargains. So I don't think it would matter much to me. I really don't worry about money all that much. I just live within my means and make sure I don't rack up debt and don't dip into our small savings we have.

Honestly, I shop very frugally and probably still would if I had more money. Things are very tight for us right now. We are struggling to make the monthly bills and I have cut my grocery bill literally in half this month. That I wish I had been doing all along.

My dh and I were just talking today wondering why we are struggling so much now. He's not making less, it's just that every single thing has gone up a little and it adds up to a lot. Yes, I'm sick of it. At this rate, we will soon be unable to afford some of the things we are paying for now, like health insurance and life insurance. Quite honestly, my hopes of staying a stay at home mom are vanishing. It makes me sad.
