Well we did it! I bought a van! It really helped to research and research what we wanted. We pretty much had our minds made up that we wanted a honda, toyota or nissan, so we test drove all of those, along with chevy venture and kia sedona. We went to a carmax about an hour from our house and were originally going for a '04 gold honda odyssey with 40k on it, but they had just got an '04 grey odyssey with 18k on it. We drove it and that was it for us. It drives like a dream and it has a dvd player in it! That was a nice added bonus. I have a huge car salesman phobia and some of the places we went to were just creepy, they are like vultures hovering around you. (no offense to any salesmen ), but when we went to carmax, it was like night and day. We loved it and will definately buy from them again. We were able to trade our car in and put 6,000 down, so that brought our payments down to a level we were comfortable with.

I also like Carmax b/c they don't hassle you like other car salesmen. Anyway...enjoy you van!

We have a 2004 Odyssey with a DVD package and 19K miles on it. Love my Odyssey and the DVD is a sanity-saver!!
