I just wanted to thank you for adding this section to the top of the board. I have been on this board for almost 5 years now but since you have changed the format it has really added a whole new dimension to mommysavers. I enjoy the top 2 sections SO much. Your posts (along with several other "newer" members like kathrynhannah and cookie2) are so intellegent and thought provoking and well written. I have always been interested in good deals and simple living, but you are really sparking an interest in finances that I never had before. I used to just feel great if I was sticking to my budget and I didn't think too much about making "my" money work better for our family since I am a SAHM. We invest, we have a financial planner, we have lots of life insurance, etc. but I used to always leave that stuff to my dh to think about. Now I am getting interested and taking a much more active role in our finances. I just really love the changes and I so appreciate all of the hard work that you put into this site.

Ahh, that's so sweet.

I  this site too. Thanks Kim for all your hard work. How can we support Mommysavers? I love that it's free but if there are things we can do as a little way to say thanks, I'd love to know. (Hope it's ok to ask).

Wow! That means a lot to me. Thanks, Maggie. I'm so glad to hear that this board has made some sort of difference in your life. It has truly been a blessing for me too!   I am excited for the future of Mommysavers. I think it will only get better!

It has always been my main goal just to get this information into the hands of those who need it, that's why there's no subscription fee. If you visit the Shop These Links section in Online Bargains, that helps support the site. But really, you're already supporting it with your great comments and ideas!

I agree. I have learned so much from this site and all the wise, intelligent, and helpful women on this board. I'm putting so many things in to perspective and working toward a financial goal that I hadn't been giving much thought to in the past. Thanks for all the hard work that goes into making this site so wonderful.

I  site as well! I've only been a member for a month, but I have learned SO much and I wonder why I didn't find this earlier, but I'm making up for lost time.

Kim, keep up the good work and THANK YOU for Mommysavers!!

Maggie, I agree totally!! I've been coming here for 5 years and when the financial forums were further down I never even bothered to go into them! Now I'm lucky if I get to chit chat! I have to say Mommysavers inspired me to start knocking off our equity line and we've already paid off 2K of it due to all the support, tips, and money saving hints. At the end of the year we should be totally paid off.
