I just feel like shouting it to the world! As of 11 am today my DH and I are Credit card debt free.
I have to say thank you to this site for all the motivation to start saving money and being more frugal...otherwise I probably would not be CC free today.

We had three CC with a total close to 6,200 dollars all together. It took us 6 months to do it but it has been done.

Now if I could just get rid of the mortgage...two car payments...private school pmts...
I just need to win the lottery...lol

We are waiting for our tax refund to pay off two of our three cards.
Then work on that dang last card. It will be a great day when they are all paid off.

I am very thankful for our public school. we are the smallest of the elementary and one of two of the highest ranking academically with high parental invovlement. If we couldn't transfer it would have been private for us also.

remember a mortage is usually considered good debt and so is that education. the cars well, a bad necessity.

My goodness!! I am so happy for you...and also really envious of you! We are working very hard to reach that goal too, but it will take us a long time still. It is nice to know when someone has actually been able to achieve that goal! CONGRATS!
