I wouldn't have tipped for the guy to bring in two bar stools. A larger piece of furniture where they have to do set-up, yes or maybe.
When we lived in a California big city there were two aspects of life that were constants - lines and tipping. And tipping just wasn't 15%. That was being cheap.
When we moved to Idaho, I kept up the tipping habit until I tried to tip a guy who had delivered a large piece of furniture. He backed away quickly with his hands waving and said "No! No!". You would have thought I was offering him free sex! That's when I caught on that tipping so heavily is more of a 'big city' thing. We still tip a lot when we travel but there are more tipping opportunities then (parking, doormen, etc.)
BTW, the delivery charge DOES NOT go to the pizza delivery driver. If they don't get a tip, their pay is not covering their expenses. In Idaho, which is a right to work state, wait staff (including delivery drivers) get below minimum wage - about $2.35/hr. A tip is assumed in their pay level.
