Fun, but not very accurate, in my opinion. I could have answered part ways for many of them. And, I don't think that would have been wrong, to be honest. For example, when I make big purchases I get depressed, regretful and elated, not because we don't have the money that we budgeted for, but I worry about making the right decision while still happy that we made the decision to get what we needed. It was interesting though. I just don't agree with my score as I think a lot of them don't have 100% correct answers - some did but a lot didn't.

I was shocked! I though I was pretty good w/ money but my dh and I together, stink at managing it. Good thing I do the bills! I went to the link for second income earner and what I would think I'd spend if I went back to work would be more than I'd make, making our income less than it is w/ one person working! I used my last yr. of work wages as a base. Now, if only my dh would believe me.

Question 13's correct answer annoyed me:

When the monthly bills come in, you:

Correct Answer: If you’ve set up your budget properly, your bills are already factored into your account and many of them are paid seamlessly.
Which would be this question option I'm assuming: Don't even notice. You have arranged for automatic bill paying at the bank

So because I like to handle my bills myself, and I don't trust handing out my bank information to every company I have a bill with, I'm bad with money? I think not. Yes there are many ways I'm bad with money but this is not one of them.

I agree. I pay my bills once a month, they are all paid in full and on time. I like to have that little piece of paper that says what's on my bill.

Also, when a friend calls for a ski weekend, I take a little money out of my entertainment fund and have a party. Life is too short not to enjoy it a little. If I wait until I have every single thing figured out, I'd never have kids because I'd think they were too expensive!
