Make sure if you don't have that much credit open, that you do NOT close out the account. Cut up the card if you'd like, as a metaphorical victory, but reducing your available credit will hurt your credit (if you don't have zillions already available, that is), so don't close the account. We learned this the hard way.. Congrats!! Remember to snowball and apply this credit card's pmt to the next one.. Woohooo!!!!!!!!!!
