Not sure about everywhere else, but in NC, Tax Free weekend starts tomorrow! I stock up on underwear & socks and other clothing needs. Usually summer clothes are clearanced so that helps add to the savings too. Not a huge savings, but everybit helps. I try to stock up for the year!

Anyone else tax free this weekend?

Never heard of this. Is it just for clothing?? I'm in Minnesota, so we don't have taxes on clothing anyways.

we in MN also don't get taxed on grocery foods, but restaurant food yes. it's anything that is considered essential.

I think we have that here in WI also. I've never taken advantage of it though.

I guess I need to save a few bucks. WI Taxes are aweful here.

We have tax free weekend here in Texas too. It is this weekend. School supplies and clothing, any single item under $100 is included. I work retail and it was CRAZY today and will only be worse tomorrow!!!

Today is the last day of Iowa's tax free weekend. I know you can buy clothes, shoes and diapers tax free as long as it's less than $100.

Alabama had its first tax free weekend this weekend. It helped with clothes but not school supplies. My dd is in 7th grade this year. The school told us they would find out the first day what they need. I was kinda mad about it. Why have a tax free weekend if you can't get school supplies?
