Thank you for all the responses to my question. *I do cook from scratch most of the time. *I quess I just need some self control and plan my meals in advance. *I would be too embarresed to say how much I spend at the grocery store for the three of us and we do not eat expensive foods. *Pork is always in the freezer, at only $1.80 lb for whole pork loins, we get very tired of pork. *I'm new to this site and thank you to everyone that answered.

They have a "menu" that they offer each month for $25. It's supposed to feed a family of four for one week but I get more out of it. They also offer "specials" which are ussually bulk meats for a good price. I don't know where they offer it but it's through local churches. Even if you have to drive a distance, maybe you could get together with other moms and one person pick up the food. There are no income guidelines, the food is for anyone who wants it. Here's the site, pleae check it out:

I just want to be clear about this before I do it. *Is this for low income families or families who have recently had a disaster (fire, tornado, etc)?

This is for ANYONE who just wants to make a dent in the food budget. If you go to the angelfoodministries website you can read their mission and it answers most questions people have.
