Kind of a spinoff to how much do you owe. So I am currious when you add up all your assets (home included) minus all your debt. What is your net worth and how did you get to where you are?

Myself our family has a net worth of $52,000 in the black. So we are doing really good for being in our late twenties. Really we got to that sum by buying a home as soon as we could. Our homes value has appraised for 50K more then our purchase price 3 years ago. We are also almost up to 10K in our retirement investments. Our vehicals are retaining there value fairly well, so the big debt we have going against us is the Student loans.
If I had done something differently it may have been to have started saving for retirement earlier so far it has only been in the last 2 years that we have started and with me being a Sahm we can't afford to but in as much as we like

Actually, we had this thread posted a while back, and it kind of got uncomfortable. What one person measures in dollar worth isn't the same as another person's net worth in what they have in blessings, etc! KWIM? I, for one, have no idea on a total of dollar amount. I am so very blessed with health, kids, my family, etc. that I just figure God is in control...and it is all HIS anyhow.
