Does your post mean that you've moved, changed your spending habits etc? Have you made some mistakes? What have you learned?

If I was rich,

I'd still prepare my own meals and desserts at home

I'd still drive an older and reliable vehicle

if i were rich..... i would buy myself a new car, build a dream house, and then (i've always had this dream) to open up a great homeless facility. we were homeless in the tampa/st. petersburg area when i was 12 years old. we stayed at the homeless shelter in tampa for about 6 months before mom got on her feet. i think staying there helped define me (in some way) of who i am today. i will do anything (almost) to make sure bills get paid and food is on the table. i learned some great lessons in that facility. that's what i would do. oh, and i would NEVER bartend again!!!

If I were rich... I would not be at work right now! I'd be home with my beautiful girls.

live the same way. Nothing would change. I would still shop sales using coupons, can & preserve, garden, raise small livestock, make my own laundry soap, pack lunches for my hubby and be as frugal as I am now. Being frugal is a lot of work, but it is VERY rewarding!

I would still shop at Thrift stores, garage sales, and Walmart. I would still bargain shop as much as possible.

But I would love having the freedom to buy WHATEVER I want.

if i was rich,
Pay off the house, rent it out,
Buy a new house,
Pay off dads house
Buy a business
Get somebody else to run the business for me and stay home with my kids
Buy new cars for DH and me.
Invest the rest, for kids to live on when they are older
Hire a house cleaning service, maybe a cook, I hate to cook!
