Since your going to be a SAHM maybe you could sell your car. That could be a first step before thinking about selling your house. Also, how much will you save each month in childcare?

As for grocery budget, I started shopping with a budget and we are now saving 60$/week. So maybe there is something you can do with that.

My best advice: Write all your expenses down for a month. It has helped me to see the reality of our spending.

Good luck to you and Hugs

Talk to your mortgage company regarding "deed in lieu of foreclosure". Make sure you have enough put aside to get an apartment.
