I do $120 for each child ($20 for stocking stuffers) ..I have DD-6, DS -4 and DSS-12. SS will just get a visa gift card for $100 this year though so he can buy what he wants b/c he lives in another state and it is just so much easier to let him get what he wants. When DD and DS were younger I still set the $100 limit, but usually came in around $70-80.

HTH!

I honestly don't have a limit for each child. I get their wishlist and try to get the top 3 things. I try for 1 larger item and 2 smaller items. My 2 yo only got 2 gifts last year and 1 was clothes, he didn't care. If I had to ballpark it I would say about $60-$75 for each child of the older children and $25-30 for the younger 2 each. I'm cheap and my kids are young and really don't know the difference.

Around $100 for each. I buy throughout the year so I get alot on clearance and watch for the really good sales. I've probably only got the big Santa gift for each left to buy.

I don't really set a limit either, I do buy everything on sale or clearanced or craigslist. I buy one big gift, a couple medium size and several small. Just depends what I'm wanting for them. They are still small enough I can pick their gifts, of course I know what they will love. My dd (3 almost 4) is so easy, she justs wants a barbie! Needless to say they like anything! I'll probably spend 100-200 each for older two this year. My dd is getting the Leap Frog Explorer Globe for her big gift ($90 new i'm hoping to find it for $50) and my ds(2) is getting a real kid size drum set (also $90 new) for his big gift or the PBK anywhere chair, my dd has one and he wants his own. My 5 month old probably won't get anything more than $20 bucks from us b/c we are going to TX for Christmas and my parents go way overboard, plus we already have so much baby stuff from first 2. Actually those big gifts are I have left to buy for them, i have all the smaller stuff.

We do $100 each girl (4) for all Santa stuff. Then family gifts (from mom and dad, and to each other) are separate. Though that stuff is usually on clearance or homemade.

We usually do about $100 per son. We are going to really stick to the 3 gift rule and stocking stuffers this year. If it was good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for us! lll

I don't know what the boys are really wanting this year. They are usually pretty easy to please. My oldest (15) insists that he doesn't want anything-he has everything he needs, but deep down, I know he is wanting something-noble gesture on his part though. He is very considerate and knows that this year will be tough since I am going back to school and just working a pt job.

What is craigslist? Saw that mentioned but I have never heard of it.

I'm really looking forward to Christmas!!

I really don't have a limit, just get what they want. This year I am limiting it to 3 of their top picks and then I always pick up a couple things that they mention throughout the year. I try to stay around the $100 mark though, but sometimes it is over that.

I don't have any sort of limit, I just buy what I think they will like. Obviously, things for my 13 yr old are more expensive than thinks for my 3 yr old. It would not be fair to spend the same about on them.
