Today my husband and I went to the bank and withdrew $5500 and paid off our mortgage in person.

I am so excited! I won’t have to see that mortgage statement every month or have to pay high interest amounts anymore! Our checking and savings are lower than we are used to right now so it scares me, but Friday we both get paid so we should be safe then.

This is huge for us, and it means that we don’t have to worry about our home when I quit my job next month to be a SAHM. I get to be home with my daughter, yay!
