We put in a new kitchen floor last October. The materials came from the Home Depot and we bought it with the Home Depot credit card with no interest no payments, no Nothing for 12 months. It will be due soon, and we have the $ to pay for it. However, I'd love to get the Amazon.com points because that's how I do my X-mas shopping - I get a $25 coupon usually once a month if my points are high enough. We pay off all credit card balances 100% every month. So it would be great for us to have $1300 on our Amazon visa but I'm not sure if you can pay a credit card with a credit card. Anyone ever done this for the points?

No, I haven't done it, but I would try because it would be worth the points. We put absolutely everything on our credit card for the points (and pay it off evey month), we even put as much of our car as they would let us to get the points

I don't think that most cards will let you pay off one with another per se....but you can "transfer balances" to another card, or some may make you use the "checks" they provide (you know what I am talking about???). I would call the amazon card and ask how you could be go about it. They should be able to tell you the best way. Also since you are not actually purchasing something I would ask them if the points would even count.
